Adding Facebook Like Box in WordPress site
Assuming that you have already created an Facebook page for your website.
To add the Facebook like box to your WordPress site please follow the below steps :
1. Go to the Facebook like-box-for-pages. If the links doesn’t work copy and paste the below link in your web browser.
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-box-for-pages
2. Then follow the steps as shown in the image below.
3. Click on the Get Code Button after filling all the details. Then it will display the code that needs to be embedded in your WordPress site. As shown in the image below.
4. Copy the above code then follow the below steps .
- Log-in to the WordPress Admin site.
- Copy the header – Javascript code in the header section in the theme.For the Plugin code Go to Appearance / Widgets
- If you are using catch-themes then follow the below steps :
- Go to Appearance/Theme Options.
- Select the Web Master Tools Tab in that Select Header and Footer code
- Add the code in the Header section and save
- If you are using catch-themes then follow the below steps :
- Click on the Text widget
- Add the code in the textarea, select the position where to display and save.
- Then you can see the Facebook like box in your website.
